accommodation in whitehaven

I'm doing the coast to coast in august with a group of 15-20 people. I'm looking for suitable accommodation for a Friday night with secure bike storage. Any advice as a google search ain't showing much choice.

    For that many people = Travelodge just out of town at Howgate.

    Every travelodge I've stopped at don't mind you storing the bike in the room

    Or theres the chase http://www.chasewhitehaven.co.uk/location Not sure about bikes tho. There isn't really many hotels in Whitehaven, a few B&B but none really big enough for 20 people.

    Good luck on your trip, we do a C2C staring in whitehaven every year, done Hadrians, Reivers and C2C. We don't have to worry about the first night accomodation in whitehaven tho, as we all live there :)
