cannondale caad 10 headset

Has anybody got a blown diagram of how the headset goes together?

i was wanting to do as much of the build myself as possible but i have failed at the first hurdle.

I've googled my heart out but came up with nothing.

Crown race goes onto the fork (bike shop), then the big bearing.
Slide the fork into the head tube, small bearing over the top of that followed by the bearing cover and the big CAAD cone thing and your done.

Without trying to sound superior, what parts causing you issues?

Never built a bike before.

Is the crown race the ring with the split in it so it expands to fit the fork? Bearings look after themselves.

i will take a pic of what I've got later but there looks to be about 7/8 parts to the assembly and i don't know where it can all go.

by googling i have found out that the caad10 headset is different to other caads. Its something in not wanting yo bodge.

Post a photo of the parts laid out will help a lot...usual sequence is:
crown race, lower bearing, upper bearing, retaining collet, (maybe a shim or two) top cover, fork bung, top-cap - with some headsets, the retaining collet can sometimes go above the top cover

So,on the left, is that the crown race? Silver washer with a spilt?

Then from the left the upper and lower bearings.

2 flat washers, where do they go?

Top right, black ring, dont know where that goes then the other 2 i am fine with.

Thanks all.

Mistaken identity on what the crown race was. Because its a tapered steerer i expected it to be a split crown race. But force has seen it on.

The diagram was very handy.

How did you manage to get that frame so soon. I'm still waiting for mine but I've been promised it before the end of the month.
