Chain question
About a week ago I submerged a chain that I was cleaning in a beaker of what is essentially diesel (it's the cleaner that comes in a red metal tub from Halfords and basically smells like turps / diesel).
Anyway, having forgotten about it, I just found it!
Will the extended period of submersion cause any damage, or once rinsed and oiled will I be good to go?
Cheers!
EDIT - it's "GUNK Engine Degreaser" - does it contain any additives which may cause harm in this context? I am guessing it'll be safe, but have never left a chain soaking in it for a whole week!

According to Dave Moulton diesel is a perfect chain cleaner and lubricant.0

Naw it'll be fine. But it may take a while to fully drain the degreaser out of the chain.- - - - - - - - - -
