I want to replace the bearing on my Power Torque chainset can I just replace the bearings or do I need to replace the cups as well?

Any help will be appreciated and I know they are awkward to replace.

Cheers

  • I've just bought the cups for my new build, now, I'm no expert but when i was searching for them i couldn't see separate Barings.

i think i got them from ribble for £27 so its not going to break the bank.

  • Surely the bottom bracket cups only come with a bearing in the none-drive cup as the crankset comes with a bearing attached to the drive side?

    Hi

You buy the bearing separate from the cups so my question is still do I need to replace both together.

no, you don't even had to replace both bearings at once.
