Best sleep all week, turns out cider and rum works better than diazepam :D

Sister in law is over with her bin lid - so the family are all out for the day whilst I study and have a bath every couple of hrs to soak my neck - this is living the dream

I bet cider, rum and diazepam work better together

Off out riding soon, then off to my father in laws for lunch.

Then back home to fit the gear cables on the BFe, almost there now, just a couple more bits :)

Hope all have a drugged up/boozed up saturday!

    Morning felchers,
Found out last night scout leader gave out the wrong dates so not taking my son to camp until next week. So we don't have a child free Saturday night. I might make him kip in the garage.
    More tea needed.

    Morning bumders

Was going to ride the bike this morning. CBA.
Hockey match after lunch, will ride the bike a bit this afternoon probably. Then need to stock up on breakfast materials ready for tomorrows hangover as it's going to be a very heavy night tonight.

  • Morning Losers!
I had a terrible nights sleep. My mind just wouldn't turn off, so I've had about 3 and a half hours sleep. I am, however, wide awake now :)

Today, I'm having chocolate croissants for breakfast, so to counterbalance this gayness, I'm going to Chesterfield to watch Bury play football (yeeeaaahhh, football, beer, womenz!) Hopefully it'll be a good day out.

    Laters!

The roadie is now fixed, driver has been down to lbs to pay for repairs and I'm off to go pick it up shortly. Got off pretty lightly there. Only needed new front wheel, tyre etc, new crud raceguard thing, slight true of rear wheel and slight bending of mech hanger. Total cost around £300, which includes £250 for the new front wheel.

This weekend however is all about the MTB. Racing tomorrow on a brand new track which has been created especially for this race series. Last round I finished 5th. I would very much like a podium this time round. We shall see!

    Laters douchebags.

Good result CWNT. Nice to know the driver did the right thing.
I'm going out to the garage to hide my beer before the boy's 'adventure' tonight. Hopefully he'll fix one of his bikes and stoo using my hack.

    Afternoon c*mgobblers.

This morning started late after 2 all nighters finishing coursework, now settled with lunch (Tuna (2 tins) pasta (300g) with eggs (300g) and assorted fruit) which should see me through until around 6, where its steak time.

In the interim, gunna bleed my Avid Elixirs, fit my new stem and do some maintenance on my commuting hack. Might also play a bit of Borderlands 2, great fun!

    Afternoon Pond Life,

Good day - lie in, followed by a cheeky 30 miler round the North Downs on the roadie in the sunshine (for a change) with a couple of mates, finished off by a massive round of bacon sarnis and coffee in a cafe with two waitresses well worth a 'tip' or two  . The rest of the day will involve sweet FA.

Today's match was literally the worst I've played in years. Taken a few hours to get out of my bad mood but I'm putting it down to an off day. Will forget about it and get ready for tonight, initiation time for the new blood in the uni team, got some sorting out and cooking to do

Tomorrow is going to be horrible, not least because I've arranged a ride with a friend in the morning and I don't really want to call it off as I've not seen her for ages and it'll be a nice chance to catch up. I'll just take a sick bucket along with me
