The time has come to replace my trusty Felt Q800s. It has served me well over the last 6 years but I fancy a change. I have had a scout round and found 3 which I really like the looks of:

Mondraker Podium 29er (not carbon)

Trek Elite 8.7

Whyte 729

They all come in at around £1k, with the exception of the Mondraker being available at JE James at the minute for £899. I like the SRAM gear setup of my current Felt, so I would like to have SRAM again. I definitely want a hard tail, not sure about 29er but wouldn't put me off. I ride in Sherwood Forest as it is on my doorstep so nothing too technical. I am leaning towards the Mondraker at the minute, what do you guys reckon??
