Where to ride

i have been into mountain biking for about a year now and want some where new to ride. i am currently bewdley based so basically only ride in the wyre forest on the natural trails. i was wondering wear i can go to ride some new trails that are actually good. i would say i have reasonable ability, though most of the time my friends and i have the attitude more balls than brains when it comes to riding. i can't drive but can get on a train easily so places a little further afield would be fine.

Also does anyone know if the ribbesford downhill tracks would be worth a look at, i ride a hardtail.

Don't know your areas personally, but get a hold of some local OS maps (the orange ones), find the bridleways and go explore - half the fun is not knowing what you might discover!

Clent, Kinver, lickey hills ....have you joined the wyre forest mtb Facebook page and the wild boars page ...lots of people on there that ride local to you ...just post up and someone will show you something new
