Mornin

Still suffering with a bad neck, which means sleeping less than a new born baby, about as useful and similarly no chance of cycling this w.end :(

Which is a real shame as I handed in an assignment last night & have got another one to do for the end of the month, so the perfect w.end to have a decent blast.

Today will be email and phone calls as I try to organise the team to speed up and produce some reporting - its going to be frustrating. All in all, I'm in a Man Utd type gloom.

Its a bit colder here - the heating hasn't kicked in yet and I don't want to turn it on as its like the wife, an old inefficient system that makes lots of noise and doesn't get too hot

    Morning bumders

Got up early to go out for some singlespeedin' before the real traffic but the kit is still wet so that's a no go. We've no washing machine so everything is being handwashed and the lack of spin and drain option is meaning stuff is taking far too long to dry.

Having housemate issues, but that's normal  I'm sick of them being bone idle and leaving me to do everything that needs doing around here and they're sick of me getting up early in the mornings and leaving bikes and bike bits lying around the place apparently. Although it's OK to leave horse tack lying around and to get up early if it means either horses or walking the dog  Thankfully I've only really got to tolerate them for 2 more weeks, then we're never around at the same time again until we move out which suits me.

This is why I moved in by myself. It suits me much better!

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday was a busy day, and I think today will be too. Not getting the things done that I need to, which is irritating.

Stood on the scales today, and am confused. I think they're not working properly, as they weren't aligned to zero (by a LONG way!) and when I stood on them, I appear to have put on over a stone in a week. This is a week of exercise and healthy(ish) food :?

I wouldn't mind doing that but a) can't afford it and b) there are plenty of other people I know who I can/will happily live with.

I'll hopefully be moving in with a few international students from the course next year, I run and ride bikes with them, I get on really well with them and they're nice people. They're a fair bit older than the current housemates, chilled out but not lazy and actually take responsibilty for themselves. From what I've seen when I've been round there will be much nicer to live with. Plus I'll be in the shape of my life after a year with them, they're ultramarathon nutters

    Morning cruddites,
Very glad it's Friday. Usual form here is a busy morning and quiet in the afternoon. Looking forward to the weekend although I have to get up early tomorrow as my son is camping with scouts and I have to get him there. Good news is daughter is also out tomorrow night so we get a night to ourselves. No idea what we'll do, I can't remember the last time we had a night off.
S'pose I should do some work now.

    Afternoon homos.

Work has been more busy than I like this morning, hence an afternoon post

Anyway, only a couple of hours left then onwards to the weekend :)

    Afternoon Mongs,

Just got our quarter 3 made up numbers finished at work so the desk slavery is over for the week. The auditors can **** off. Vodka and sleep are on the agenda tonight then it's off out to deepest soggiest Kent tomorrow morning for a pedal with a couple of mates, followed by plotting an escape to Wales for next month when the floods have subsided :)

    Evening.

Basically got evicted from my 7 a side footie team, even though im the top goal scorer by far. Played for some random people instead. Was the only goal scorer for them too. 7 aside is so easy, everyone just wants to attack. Getting the ball and being quick (cyclists legs!) = easy opportunity on goals.

Early morning tomorrow. Will be at the gym at 9am doing some cardio workouts. First time. Then PC games with a mate, and getting my bike all checked up for the Sunday ride.

    Laters peeps.
