Hi All,
I've had my Jet Fluid Pro Trainer for a few years now but I am on my 3rd resistence unit! Had the latest one for only a few months and it is already getting noiser like previous RUs. It seems to be a noise from the bearings. Up to 20mph is ok but then it gets worse. I've persisted with previous RUs and the noise just gets much louder and is evident at lower speeds.
Paligap have been good in providing replacements but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?
Or can suggest that I may be doing somehting wrong!
I don't clamp the unti too tightly, I use a Vittoria Turbo Trainer tyre (have tried at 100-120psi but no difference) and I bought a new tyre for the latest RU. I also use it 3-5 times a week in my garage throughout the year so not as if it's overheating.
