I was pleased to see Rapha are finally opening a Cycling Club in Amsterdam - seems like a city that should have one. It'll be interesting to see how it does because, as much as there are loads of people that cycle, I don't know how many are "cyclists" (in a Velominati sense). Most make no concessions to cycling in what they wear and I've been really impressed by the footwear that you see many ladies cycling in. That said, when I was in my very local bike shop (which gets a mention in Rapha's city cycling guide) the guy spotted my Rapha jacket and bemoaned the fact that Rapha wouldn't let him stock their gear. I also think that there's a cadre of more trendy cyclists and I think the whole FGSS is beginning to make an impact.
