Hi i am currently in the process of selling my old road bike (specilaized Tarmac expert 2006) and upgrading to something newer in the form of the canyon cf SL 7.0 at £1400. Has anyone had any expirinece with this bike or another anyone bike simalar. Any other suggestions of bike will be appreciated. I am. 5ft 9 with inseam of 86.5 cm so I think a 56cm Frame would be ideal?
Cheers

How does the canyon compare to something like the Boardman team carbon?0

Check the "your road bikes" section out. Some 8.0's there to ask people questions on.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Hi I have a CF SL and it is a Large, I am 5'11" and it is fine. I normally ride a 56cm Supersix and find the Large CF SL to be silghtly longer but also a touch taller at the front. Certainly IMHO a little less racey than the Supersix, but still a great riding position. The gep charts are very helpfull, I found the sizing guide confusing and went off ETT lenght when making my final size dessision.
For the money they are great bikes, although I would want to upgrade the wheels on a 7.0, making an 8.0 or 9.0 a better buy in the long run?0 -
canyon size up larger, i have a 58cm road bike which is great but if i got again id go for a 56

I'm 6ft, canyon told me to go for the large which is their 58, I was thinking of the medium. Rang them up, spoke to a guy who said my measurements were almost the same as his and he rides a large. There is the option to swap the stem.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I am thinking of going for the same bike myself. I am 6ft 3" with a 93cm inseam, their calculator suggested the XL (60cm). I am heading to the London Bike Show, where are due to have a stand, so hoping I can at least check that the sizing is correct.0
