which skull cap?

I have a DHB one which is almost perfect but the bottom seam is too obvious, and leaves a line on my head as if I've been carefully lobotomised.
Any recommendations for a roubaix cap which is thin/comfy/stretchy/not obvious?
I tried an Icebreaker merino one recently ('Chase') that was close but slightly too big.

I think the problem will be that we are all slightly different. My wife and I tried to share a skullcap but what fitted me did not fit her and vice versa. Might be worth trying to get to a shop and trying a few on.
Oh, love that line about the lobotomised look, made me think of Robert DiNiro in the Frankie film0 -
I've got one of these
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... earzhed307
It was the best rated cap in a review of winter gear in the Cyclist or Cycling Plus (can't remember which) beating Rapha Castelli et al, I like the peak which keeps rain off your glasses and it's warm without being bulky.0 -
Not sure if this is what you mean but I have one of these http://www.hargrovescycles.co.uk/products.asp?partno=38130&gclid=CJeHxsGV7LsCFSMewwodeV4AJQ and have absolutely no complaints. I also use it under a helmet when skiing and have never had a cold bonce.0

Anyone got the thermo Castelli one?

i've not got the one above but i have got the head thingy which is exactly the same minus the top half (it's a headband) the edge is barely noticeable. Really thin you can barely feel it but it is extremely warm. I'd say go for it.0

Can recommend this:

For bike wear only! Snug fit (I've a big head), warm, comfortable and I don't sweat under it. I like the look of that Castelli though, I too would be interested to hear thoughts on it.0 -
Ta. I'll give the Castelli a try I reckon.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0

For what its worth, I always use a buff, doubled if chilly, with no seam marks as yet0

Here is the inside:

I have a full head of hair and recently bought a sportful headband/ ear warmer which in recent weather I have found to be superb.
For colder weather I found the Rapha merino wool hat very effective and quite thin to fit under my helmet. Assos stinger when temperatures drop further.

Castelli arrived, thanks Merlin, and it's just the job. Sleek, soft, snug.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
