I have decided to buy a turbo as the weather is doing my head in!
The Minoura unit looks perfect for my beginner needs and at £119.00 suits my budget.
Anyone have any comments why I shouldnt push the purchase button?

That looks pretty good indeed! Do you have-use one?0 -
I have had one (Tacx) for a couple of years now and it is a solid piece of kit in my experience (2-3 sessions a week minimum through winter). The mat and wheel riser are a must if you ask me and at that price it's a bargain.0

Minoura ones I have seen look, feel and smell very cheaply made.
I would spend the extra and get a Tacx.0 -

Whereas my Minoura LR760 is none of those things But then it was nearer £300.0 -
Just bought a Minoura B60-R. Very happy so far, resistance is good, volume of the trainer is relatively low, works well with a cheap tyre and spare rear wheel.0
