And it lost of a packet too, a £17k car that was sold for £6k.

This is the only thing that puts me off buying another Alfa.

I had a 145 Cloverleaf. Went round corners on rails. Brilliant car, fantastic engine.
  • Had a 1.7 boxer 33 for over ten years. The sound of that engine was like an orchestra; I used to blip the throttle as I went under railway bridge near home just to hear the reverb. Even though it went to Alfa heaven about three years ago I still come home and imagine I see it parked outside the house. Probably the most utterly brilliant car I'll ever own. Refused to go anywhere in clammy fog.
Sorry this was totally irrelevant to the OP and recent model ARs. Suggest you buy one anyway.

Had a 147 and it was the best car I have ever owned. Loved it.

Handling and braking were exceptional and that T-Spark engine was so sweet. I had the variator go which was a common fault on the T-Spark engine. Problem is cam belt has to be changed when having this done. Good news was it still had a warranty.

Love to get Guilietta(?) saw one at a local dealers. Stunning motor
