Yeah but what shops use the scheme, some cycle2work schemes are only for specific shops i.e. Halfords or Evans.Framebuilder

The cycle 2 work scheme is exclusive to Halfords. Other retailers use other schemes such as 'ride to work', 'bike to work' etc.
You are not just limited to Halfords bikes though. You can get hold of any bikes that Leisure Lakes stocks through the cycle to work scheme, which opens your selection up to brands such as Specialized, Trek, Scott etc. albeit they would be lower models.0 -
Yes, there are loads of different versions of this scheme -Halfords, Evans and the NHS have their own for example. I think the most widespread one amongst bike shops is 'cyclescheme'. First double check which scheme you are on, then the scheme website should tell you where you can purchase from. I used cyclescheme at Ribble, Winstanleys Bikes (on a sale bike) and On One over the years.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
