Why doesn't Ant McCrossan understand that the World Cup is second division to the Super Prestige? Riding around a near-deserted racecourse in Rome isn't exactly a great advert for CX.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

The other World Cup rounds have been pretty good. Looked a really strange venue and as you say no crowds. I guess once you are outside Belgium there is not as much support. Still hope we get a round at MK next year though

It's a done deal, the date is Nov 29th. I'll be very surprised indeed if there aren't big crowds; everyone I've spoken to is hoping to go...

  • I think that Simon Burney said on twitter that it wouldn't be definitely at MK until UCI had met at the next world cup race, which I guess meant the Rome one?

Belated reply - Ant McCrossan is the commentator on the UCI YouTube CX feed and he was rabbitting on about recent results but failing to mention Super Prestige which is the Belgian GP Series. There's more money in the SuperPrestige so consequently a lot of riders try harder - riders like Mourey can barely scrape a top-10 in the Super Prestige.
