You lazy feckers - gone 11am and no Sunday thread, so here's one.

It's actually sunny here today so I've washed the roadie down ready for more communting duty and got a bit of fettling done while I've got some peace n quiet. Tomorrow is the first day back at work in over two weeks and I'm really not looking forward to it :(

    Morning mongos.

    Well pissed off.

Got up at 7:30 to get ready to go for a ride. I would be going alone today as no ride was arranged on the forum, wanted to take the opportunity to give the bike a proper thrashing for an hour or so, as usually i dont go 100% when i go with a group. Really looking forward to the ride. I get all ready, bike ready at the front door all checked over and everything. Go to tell my mum who is half asleep that im going, and she doesnt let me go because i have mock exams tomorrow!!!! GRRRRRR. I would have been home by 11 the latest. Plenty of time to fkin revise.

So no ride this week. Physics and Maths galore for the rest of the day. Wheyyyyy

    In pain

Up early for a single speed road ride, one mile freewheel breaks - so swop for the fixie nice 30 miles but had a niggling bad neck. Get home and it starts to spasim, so now on some dodgy pain killers and baths.

It's a pain as I've got an assignment to do and wanted to go to the pub :(

  • Afternoon losers!

Normal Sunday for me, then bought some jumpers from Next, absolutely nothing of interest to report. Looks like things are 'back to normal' for me. Fun.

    Afternoon mongs.

Been out on the 456, 8 horrible miles in the dark through nothing but mud and a 30mph headwind coming straight off the sea. Have been at work over most of Christmas dealing with flood damage so tomorrow won't be much of a shock apart from getting up early to beat the traffic.

Off to build a fire and have a big mug of tea.

  • Well today I rode for the first time in about 3 months... Weight loss will happen.

I was also wearing a plaid shirt, as is mandatory to ride a bike down a hill. In true spirit of things, I got my lumber jack on and cleared a shit load of wood and fallen trees that had obstructed a nice little bit of trail.

Good deed done for the day, no need to thank me!

What you need is a giant picture (it has to be giant, believe me) of GT Sparrowheads mum's 4rse on the wall in front of you and a hairdrier on full whack pointed in your face gaffer taped to the handlebars* - that will motivate you.
*For added realism, ram some fish into it.

    He is a massive member.

You call me Sparrowhead, and your names jack. That gives me the perfect opportunity to say:

    FUCK OFF JACK SPARROW....
  • You mean he's your Dad? Is this a rubbish version of Star Wars? Is Kowalski (whatever the fark his name is) an Ewok? Things are beginning to make sense!

Jack Sparrow is Pirates of the Carribean. Not Star Wars. -face palm-

But if he's calling you Sparrowhead, and you're calling him Jack Sparrow, that makes him your Dad. If you've ever seen Star Wars, you'll get the movie reference. Face palm back

GT's only just old enough to have started watching Star Wars so you'll have to forgive him for being a little slow

I watched all the Star Wars films 2 weeks ago, watched one every night. Arran arent you still in school aswell? Thought i read you say that somewhere. You are probably a few months older than me at most if you are.

I do understand the reference. Just was a very very vague one. And i wasnt expecting my film reference to be followed up by another film reference.
