They don't need to get wet, they absorb humidity from the air FGS, frankly you have no argument for not doing it, why not just admit you got it wrong!

Stronger, Young's modulus is higher and creep rates are reduced, that OK?

You shouldn't be using it in a humid environment. Under normal conditions humidity isn't enough of an issue to worry about.
I prefer to design around KNOWN properties, not approximate values. I want to know exactly how a component will behave under load.
Oh dear, you do know the air contains moisture right, like all the time.....it will become saturated eventually, whether it takes 5 minutes in a pan or 1 year in an A/C office, it will happen.........well sorry, but Nylon changes it's behaviour, so you either use worse case or best case or somewhere in between, so you just have to suck it up.

I just can't believe we've strayed so far from the really important issue - i.e. coloured fasteners are gash...

It is inevitable when you get two engineering gods like Rockmonkey and the Beginner coming together head to head

Yes, indeed, how dare someone have more in-depth knowledge of a subject than you. That is so irksome!

Trouble is it's a catch all, and is used to mean "I know more than you", when it's often not the case. I wouldn't say to someone "I'm a cyclist" in a derisory tone if they started talking to me about BMXs, but engineers do it a hell of a lot. Not saying that's the case here, but along with "I was just riding along..." it's one of the most irritating things customers say.
