Is this a good frame of my fixie build?

Hi,
I'm looking to start a cheap fixie build. I am a beginner but think this is a good way for me to learn how to fix and build bikes, I also need a bike for commuting and shopping ect. I am a 6 foot tall male and was wondering whether this would be a good frame to start with. (I'm very tempted due to he low price)

I like the fact that it is unfinished steel. I like the patterns of the welding so may well just lacquer it to prevent rust. However I may decide to chrome it at some point.
Just thought I'd gather some thoughts on whether this is a steal, or just too good to be true before I take the plunge.
Thanks!

Don't know... you like the Cotic Roadrat or On One Pompino?

No. You'll look like a clown on it.

£55 inc. delivery. It's too small. 2.5 kg just for the frame. More to the point, it's not been painted. If it was titanium that'd be cool.
Depending on what bits you've got lying around, you'll still have to buy more or less a whole bike. Personally I'd be on the look out for an eighties road bike with sloping dropouts for an easy conversion project.0 -
Okay guys, thanks for your responses. Upon further research I've found a larger frame of the same type.

This any good?
In response to concerns regarding the lack of paint, thanks for the advice. I think if lacquering would not be a good idea, I may just paint it. I've always wanted my own custom bike so I'm quite keen on the idea of a blank canvas.
Thanks again guys0 -
Sorry, I should have added that I built an unpainted alu. mtb up as a commuter. Polished metal scratches really easily and now it looks a bit of a mess... but of course being steel you'd have to do something with it. I think you're looking at £50 + for powder coating, I've always been steered away from spraying a frame by hand. My first go at a fork respray looked good for a while but damaged quite quickly; I've had another go with Rustoleum (it's like Hammerite) looks OK at the moment. I like the idea though :-)0
