Hi all, I am having trouble removing the drivetrain from a bike. The tread is non existent. I am using the puller but there is nothing to bite on to.

Is there any way to get it off? I have a hammer :D and a spare bottom bracket.

Thanks

    Tread, you Irish?

Just hammer it off from behind, but you will damage it.

    Only my spelling is Irish....

I have had the hammer on it, as I have all the spare parts in the shed. Its completely mangled but no joy moving it.

+1 to that, it will work better than you think... Tried removing a crank today, managed for the first time on that one because I soaked it in gt85
