    It'll be packed from Thursday night onwards. If you watch over the 6 days you'll see the tactics of the teams - it's all about targeting your efforts to get laps.

    Graeme Brown is struggling at the moment. Keisse/Terpstra are an awesome pairing but Morkov/Rasmussen and de Ketele/de Buyst also looking good.

    That was good to see - Bos and East hooked up - cadence ramped up to 140 on the big efforts and then down to 60 when resting.

    He's a bit out of touch though, judging by his comments re: Rasmussen who is not on a 'sabbatical' and hasn't been since Garmin re-signed him 9 months ago from said 'sabbatical'!

    He said he was able to ride track, but not road because of his 'sabbatical'. And he was referring to his backdated whereabouts violation, though he only referred to it with a chuckle and a winked 'sabbatical' or 'what you might call a sabbatical' - or words to those effect.

    Fair enough.

    TBH, compared to every other English speaking commentator that's seriously small fry.

    Phil & Paul probably think he's related to Micheal Rasmussen and Carlton would just be very confused and compensate by shouting "OH MY GOD" and 'GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE' a lot.

    Enjoyed that. Was rooting for de Ketele and de Buyste but Terpstra and Keisse always seemed to have the extra gear.

    Interesting that (I think I'm right here) neither of the Omega Pharma guys were using Specialized bikes - looked like Dolans.
