Apologies if we're not supposed to post to other forums, but it's all here:

If you can be bothered to read it all, including all the links, it's an 'interesting' story.

TL:DR - man is caught with a banned substance in his system, claims someone did something dodgy with his bidon, accused denies this, WADA don't buy it resulting in a 4 year ban.

His explanation of how Modafinil was found in his system was that this other guy, who he and his wife had been having domestic arguments with for some time which read like a bad episode of EastEnders, must have swapped his bottle on the bike he'd left outside while he went inside to sign on. He had no evidence it had happened, just presented it as his theory of the only way it could have happened. UKADA declined to say whether that's what happened or not, as he had no evidence for it, but he gave a +ve test for a banned substance so he got a 4yr ban. He still denies it.

It's almost as bad as JTL's "Went out on the piss" story

Or that idiot formerly of Richardsons-Trek who said the drugs were from where he shared a needle with a random stranger down the gym... As you do

Right, so aging GB TTer takes drugs, gets popped, claims a big boy did it and ran away.

I'm still slightly lost as to how this is connected to a thread dedicated to the exemplary, outstanding, unsurpassed thousand yard stare of Arthur Vichot...

Not a thread purist or anything, I can go off topic with the best of them, just slightly bemused.

The suggestion was that Arthur had seen the bidon of a dodgy TTer. Even off the back, late light bulb moment Pinno could suss that out.

Apparently he has "been wondering what he was doing in the sport after spells of illness, injury and ignominy". Might explain what he's thinking about...

Then by that token, we should start the 'What's Betancur seen?' thread.

So that's it; he finds it difficult to avoid the pommes frites, the mayonnaise and the Duvel whilst in Europe.

With fellow Colombians and speaking the same tongue at Movistar, maybe this will beginning of something.
