bottom bracket and crankset

Hi I have an old carrera fury a 2002 model and need to put a square tapper bottom bracket in, the one I have is 68x113 and I have a shimano mc311 crankset, but when I tighten the crankset the inner ring rubs on the frame, so do I just need a longer bottom bracket to aolve this problem

Yes you need a 123mm axel.

All in the crank info from Shimano.
