can't wait for the classics this year, when watching those videos it made me wonder if between Eddy the boss, Gee and Stannard if sky can do something this year maybe win a semi classic or podium in RVV, P-R, MSR?0

Thomas is their best bet but he's tier two at best.
They're a team who are good with plans but not very good at being opportunistic.0 -
G tier 2, really? Won Roubaix as a junior, 10th in his first Flanders, 2nd on the Roubaix stage in the 2011 Tour. G or Stannard may make the big breakthrough, it may take several years and it may never happen, but it'll be great to watch.0

Those results would put him in the third tier.
Vanmarcke, Nuyens, Eisel, Boom, Breschel et al are second tier riders. Thomas may step up to it, but he needs to show this by getting some results.0 -

Hence, 'at best'....
Though i'd say more like Chavanel and Gilbert in tier two for Flanders.0 -
Ffs ... Here we go ... AGAIN ... it's only day one ...
SKY were not even classed above Belgian chocolate in things Canc has to worry about for the coming season ... so let's not even waste our time arguing about them as players in the spring's big 3 races ...
Good interview, and nice to see he realises his wins last year weren't quite the same without Boonen ... He seems relaxed with himself ... Just hope it's not another of those cases of 'too' relaxed and he loses that extra little bit he needs for the win ...0
