LVRC are putting on a proper six event omnium over two days at Newport in February. See:

This should be a blast and deserves to be a hit. You need to be a member of LVRC but it's only £20 and for that you also get to enter their excellent road races. 40 is the minimum age, and women race with men 10y older.

    Darn, saw this too late. I heard it was good from a couple of the guys who took part. A chance to do a full olympic style event with all the electronic timing and everything.
