About to buy, unless anyone has any thoughts

Just about to purchase a new saddle, this one:

Selle SMP Drakon Saddle

I know its a personal thing but has anyone got any thoughts before I buy?

    The only thing I would say is make sure your measure yourself properly and have a clear idea of what you want and why. My old saddle was too narrow and used to be really painful in the middle after an hours riding. My new one is wider, has a cut away in the middle and I can ride it for hours with no problems.

    I tried that model and a couple of other SMPs on good long tests but found the metal bar at the rear crossing under the part of the saddle where you sit rendered them all too unforgiving for me - shame as I did like the shape just felt they suffered from being too rigid due to that metal bar.

    They hold their value well though so if you have bought and can't return you shouldn't be hit too hard if reselling.
