chain to short

Hi all happy new year .
I have cut my chain to short can I use two speed links so close together only two links short so links will be close together

    I got a faulty KMC chain (bad link) and fixed it with a magic link so it now contains two. All good, so I don't see why not.

    cheers thought not just developed an awful tick each revolution changed bottom bracket cassette pedal chain ?//
