2300 reach adjustment
Hi
Just bought my wife a Triban 3 for Xmas. All is well except she is struggling for reach to the break levers when on the drops. I understand that you can get a shim/spacer for the lever to bring them closer but I can't seem to find any online for 2300. Does anyone know where might supply them?
I assume that once the lever position is altered with the shim, some sort of adjustment is required for the cable tension?

Use the part numbers from section 9 here:

And get them from here:

Most bikes fitted with 2300 levers should have been supplied with shims. Call where you got the bike from, they might have a box of spares. Do it soon though, they are very different to the 2400 on New bikes.0

Thanks, that's all really helpful.0

If your a bit engineery, if that's a word, the hole at the top of the shifter where the shim pops into is a perfect size for an M5 thread. I tapped mine to M5 and used an Allen headed grub screw for adjustment of reach.... although its probably waaay simpler to use shims lol0
