Best Frame Protection

Hi,
Just ordered my first 'new' bike - a Canyon Nerve AL in stealth black.
Does anyone have any experience with the stick on frame protectors and if so which would be best suited. I know it's going to end up scratched at some point but it would be nice to keep it looking sweet for a little while!

Helicopter tape is the norm for down tube and areas where cables rub because it's transparent but strong. Use the decent stuff though as the cheap ones turn yellow with age. If needed I have 5+meters left over from my bike I could sell you.
