Hi everyone,

I bought a Trek X-Caliber 9 a couple of months ago and I hadn't rode a bike for about 8 years and that was BMX but I'm just starting to get some real confidence in the bike and it's capabilities.

Thinking of getting some peddles for it any recommendations? Preferably flat ones, not keen on the idea of spd's

Anyway here's a pic or 2 of my bike.

Comments/Criticism welcome :)

Wellgo MG1. Light magnesium goodness, and around £30 on Ebay.

  • I would recommend getting Shimano M520 Pedals
    Why?
    - Light weight
    - Easy to clip in and out [Double sides]
    - Rain resistant
    - 30 USD

Or If you want something a little bit more versatile get the PD-A520
    - You can use your regular shoes with these pedals.
    - Also Easy to clip in and out [Double sides]
    - Light weight
    - 65 USD

    Couple of points:
Well done on the thread resurrection.
    He specifically said flats.
I doubt he's in the US. We don't use $.
He hasn't been back since the last post, so seems to have lost interest.
