Hi Everyone
Just wondering if anyone has the above bike/has ridden the above bike.
I'm ditching my beloved Hybrid for my first road bike and after lots of looking around, this looks like the best value for my sub-£1K budget. (Initially was looking at getting a Cannondale until people I know talked me out of it.
This is the bike I'm thinking about:

Wiggle also have a mekk 3g sora which is lighter and cheaper.0 -
Very good bikes.
Let down a bit by some no name kit on low end models.
However frame set and performance is excellent. Expert reviews are back this up too.
A word of warning is the 2014 range will have Full Shimano groupsets. At the moment the chain set and brakeset are mekk rebranded.
The frame will stay the same. This is why they have reduced the 2013 prices significantly.
The 3G Potenza Sora bike is also on wiggle. The Potenza is suites more for longer distance rides with a more relaxed geometry.
The Poggio is a sportive bike too but leans towards a slightly race like / aggressive setup.0
