final chainring question!

I've replaced the cassette, chain and the inner chainring on my winter bike to make hill training a little easier. Have noticed that the drive chain is quite a bit noisier when I cycle using the outer chain ring. Is it likely that the chain or other components will deteriorate quite quickly because I haven't replaced both chainrings? Same theory as replacing the chain when you get a new cassette..

The outer ring is very used but not causing any major issues

    Post a close-up piccie of the chainring teeth and we'll tell you.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
