Hi all,

I want to upgrade my 2013 Felt AR5 from an FSA gossamer pro crankset to the new ultegra.

Can anyone reassure me that the bottom bracket will be a direct swop out.
The FSA is it's own 386bb standard and the ultegra is hollowtech 2.

Also I'm assuming the front mech is band on. Is this correct??

  • Unless your bottom bracket is the hollow tech 2 standard or BSA English threaded type your Ultegra 6800 BB won't work.

You'll need the correct BB386 to Shimano adapter to run an Ultegra crank.

Cheers Major Mantra, had a look at adaptors..
It's a real minefield out there....
Front mech is braze on, again need to do more research on the differences.

All because I want to try out a stages powermeter.!!!
