Full Suspension XC Racer

Hello,

I'm planning on entering a few off road duathlons this year. They're races involving trail running and mountain biking.

I'm looking into getting a lightweight full suspension bike around £1500.

I've already got a long travel hardtrail and am looking for something that would be a bit quicker up the hills and not so dam heavy!

Giant Anthem would be my choice in that budget. Have a look at Pauls Cycles website for discounted 2012/2013 bikes.

Most multisport events are very non-technical, I'd sooner have a lighter hardtail than lug around a heavy FS.

If you're really hellbent on FS I'd look at the usual culprits - Epic, Superfly FS, Anthem, Spark etc. personal preference frankly.
