December / Jan Riding Trip

Evening all,
Apologies if this has been asked many many times.
I would love to take a last moment riding trip somewhere before my next contract starts 2nd week in Jan.
Where would anyone recommend?
High Mountains are out i guess.
Would be nice to go somewhere warmish, with nice variety of riding terrain, nice cafes, restaurants etc etc

Any suggestions would be great.

    I'm assuming that you are thinking of somewhere short-haul?

    One of the Canary Islands perhaps? They are probably the warmest place in Europe at that time of year.

    I did Tenerife 2 years ago and have booked Gran Canaria for April.

    In Tenerife the roads were quiet, the traffic very considerate and there was a variety of terrain from rolling to the challenge of Mount Teide. Some of the road surfaces were a lot better than others, but no worse than here!
