 err....no thanks.
No punctures, but I reckon I would probably get punched.

Illegal on footways, won't cope with drains and potholes, so what surface exactly did you intend to use it on? The thought of keep sticking a foot out with passing vehicles does not appeal!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • These are really big with the kids at the moment, they're kinda like skateboards for wimps.

There are even dedicated shops for parts/etc (just like your local bike specialist), these parts are not cheap and complete scooters costing anything up to £500.

That's the other problem. I still own a bmx and skateboard, but i wouldn't be seen on a scooter or blades.
They were always seen as the 'easy option' by the locals at our skatepark.

I spent some time in Lausanne, Switzerland, which is on a big hill down to the lake, and I saw loads of people every morning free-wheeling down the hill into work on their scooters. In the evenings, they seemed to carry their scooters back up the hill on the trams. If I lived somewhere like that, I'd definitely consider getting one.

You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

That's my exact thought every time I see a 'kid' over the age of about six riding one of these things. It's like seeing a teen riding a bicycle with stabilisers.
