Hi all,

I have some issues with my winter bike.....every time I apply any sort of pressure to my pedals i.e. Climbing, sprinting or riding out of the saddle there is a clicking/creaking sound coming from crank/BB area with every revolution? Normal riding in the seat is fine with no noise?

My winter bike is a felt z95 done about 2k miles

Any help would be greatly appreciated....it's so annoying

Thanks

Start with the simple stuff before thinking about replacing anything. It is probably not the Bottom Bracket !!
Strip / clean / grease the following :

Seatpost, seat tube & saddle clamp,
    Pedals,
    Wheel axles, dropouts & QRs,
    Handlebars, stem & headset,
    Bottom bracket,

My money is on the Seatpost creaking inside the frame, yes, even if you are standing when it happens.

As above check your cleats and also make sure it's not the front wheel skewer that is too tight.
