Hi all thinking about buying the boardman hybrid comp from halfords for 360.00 and thoughts on this bike?

    on my second (first one stolen), but never let me down so far on my daily commute, quite quick, handles OK, but for £360 i would bite their hands off

    Especially as the 2014 is probably downspecced!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Agree - I have one. Moved on to road bikes now but still like the Comp. That's a good price. Get it checked over and set up by a proper bike shop though.
