Are there a more readily available, cheaper chainrings for campag 11 speed that work just as well?

    Yup -TA Nerius/Horus (11sp versions).

Depending on the model year of your cranks and which ring(s) you are swapping you may need the TA ultratorque chainring bolts too.

They are 2009 cranks. Did the bolts change at some point?

At some point (2011?) the Campagnolo inner chain rings were changed so that the bolts actually screw into the chain ring holes (the holes are threaded). The Campagnolo bolts thus became one-piece rather than two-piece. But the 2009 version still had the 2-piece bolts so you should be fine. If you have the newer version and are changing the inner ring to a TA one you need to get compatible 2-piece bolts. I think there is also an issue with the depth or size of the bolt holes on the outer rings. The TA ultratorque bolts are reversible to make them compatible with both the earlier and later campagnolo ultratorque outer rings (but not the inner ones obviously because they are not threaded).

Thanks. No TA 11s 110 BCD/50T available. Found Miche who make threaded and unthreaded inner rings or Stronglight or Campag.

The Nerius are 110 BCD and the Horus 135 BCD I think. But yes, looks like 50T 11sp Nerius are out of stock most places.

Everyones first generation Campag 11s must be wearing out at once. Is 4 years good? I do 5000 miles a year across two bikes and not much wet. Maybe its not as worn as I think it is.

General advice on 11s chainrings especially on carbon cranks is to get them swapped by a Service Centre - not only are chainring bolt torques more important than many riders / mechanics appreciate, but it's a little known fact that all Campag carbon chainsets are checked for chainring run-out before they leave assembly at the factory and where necessary, they are custom-shimmed to guarantee +/- 0.125 mm of trueness at the tooth base. The shims are sometimes very fine and have to go back in the right places - easy to make a mistake if you don't know they are there in the 1st place or are not careful with replacement, if you do.
At Velotech we have a run-out gauge and make this check.
TA rings are generally good but we have seen some pick-up issues on the big chainring leading to FD failures and worstened problems with pseudo-chain suck on the small ring when 3rd party big rings are used, worse on compacts.
No reported issues with inner rings that we know of.
Chainset less than 3 yo ... or if registered 4 yo - non Campag rings / bolts will invalidate the warranty.
Bolt change - 2012 version inner rings onwards are threaded on 11s groupset chainsets.
