Geometry - Canyon CF SLX vs Caad8

Can somebody help me with comparing these two bikes in terms of the sizing or even better if somebody has real world experience of riding both and how they compare.

I ride a 56 Caad8 and find it fits perfectly and am very comfortable on it. I am looking to order the SLX and looking at measurements it looks like a medium will fit my size.

But in the real world will I notice a difference in geometry of the Canyon. Obviously test riding is probably out of the question as not sure i will be able to get out to their hire centre anytime soon and dont know anybody who has one.

Not sure if this will help but I have just ordered a Ultimate CF SL 9.0 and was going to get medium as thats what the measurements came out at. I currently ride a 58cm Cube (known to size up) and previously an Allez which was a 56cm. I rang Canyon up to talk with them and the guy said he basically had the same measurements as me and was riding the 58cm which is Large. He spoke about the potential for changing stems etc if not quite right but he said I'd be better on the 58cm. I've ordered the Large.
