Hello All!!
New Poster here from Burton on Trent..
I have a roadbike with Sora ST3400 shifters on it. Tonight one of them broke and i have spotted a set of Sora ST3500 Shifters. Would you say it would be better for me to replace the old shifters with these new ST3500's or just replace the broken one with the same shifter?
Thank you in advance - John

As the ST-3500 is the type without thumb button, I would go with them.
What price have you seen for the ST-3500's?0 -
Depends if you want your shifters to match not just aesthetically but functionally. The 3500 ones apparently are more like the better shifters in the range, in that they don't have the thumb button for changing to a smaller chainring or sprocket. Instead you change down with a paddle you press with your index finger.
Have a look at this thread http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index ... 91025.html - it seems the 3500 ones are more comfortable as well.25% off your first MyProtein order: sign up via https://www.myprotein.com/referrals.lis ... EE-R29Y&li or use my referral code LEE-R29Y0
