Hello all, need some advice please,
Doing my first bike build, got XT M785 brakes 160mm discs front and rear, on-one whippet frame and SID world cup forks.
Not got the wheels as yet.
Will I need any brackets/spacers to mount the calipers on the frame and fork?
Cheer's, Nick.

Maybe maybe not it all depends on the mounts.
If both are post mount and the calipers are post mount then nothing is needed."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thank you,
I will have to make a few phone calls tomorrow to find out what mounts I have.
First bike build, was hoping to get all the items I needed for a build over Christmas.0 -
If you have the frame and forks you can just look at them.I don't do smileys.

I'm running these brakes on a Whippet. The front mounts directly to a Reba 2011 RL with no adaptor, 160mm rotor - I think your SIDs will be the same. The back is a standard mount for a 160mm rotor carried over from an old frame.
I didn't get a brake mount for the rear with the Whippet or the brakes, but they were OEM from ze germans so maybe I got a stripped down pack. I'm pretty sure you'd want something like: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shim ... -prod137490 -
THank you very much, for the info,
Will order rear mount now.
