I bought a cheap Saracen off eBay as my girl friend was using my dad's bike that was too big.
The bike was a Saracen element 2 not the best bike but with the few upgrades I have done to it it has turned out a nice little starter bike for her

So here we go the bike when I bought it

So I striped it down painted and cleaned all the parts that I was keeping and sorted a few new parts off the web

Nice clean bike, hope she likes it, similar to the wife's but hers is a traditional low top tube frame as a hip condition means she can't swing a leg over the saddle.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
