Which 100/120mm, 1 1/8th, 26 inch Q/R fork?

Hi guys, looking at forks for a friend. The budget is £300 and want's to buy new.

Forks are a personal choice so you are going to get a lot of opinions on what people think are the best... personally I like the DT Swiss XMM 120mm Twinshots - very stiff, climb mode is great, 200hr service interval, reasonable weight... I have a one on my Cube Sting and really like it. Only downside is that, warranty wise, they have to be serviced by DT (Pace in the UK).
Checkout rczbikeshop... at times they have really good prices on top end bits of kit. I've bought from them before with no issue0 -
