Hi,
Here is my hardtail I use for blasting around the Dales. The frame is the 2005 model and most of the components are more recent. Fully built inc pedals and some beefy tyres (2.4 up front) it weighs in at 12KG. I think i could take it to around 10kg if I could be inclined - but I would sooner loose 2kg from myself first!
frame - Cannondale F800 (1.8kg frame only) size L
fork - Original Lefty DLR 100mm
rear mech, hub, cranks, cassestte - Deore XT 9sp
front mech & shifter - Deore
rims - Mavic...Stans conversion
tyres - Nobby Nic 2.4 front 2.25 rear, Pacestar compound (could save weight here)
bars - one23 DH bars (could save weight here)
pedals - Shimano M530 SPD Trail MTB Pedals (could save weight here)
seatpost - Easton (need to chop down to save weight)
seat - Specialized BG
brakes - Hope Mono Mini & Mono Trial

I am not planning on replacing anything else as I plan to get a Canyon Nerve 29er in the new year. I love the look of the Lefty and the way it rides - even though I could do with some more travel!

Look even nicer with a straight bar on it..0

I agree, the riser bars dont suit it at all.
Lovely bike otherwise!Check out my blog for my views and reviews: http://memylifeandmybike.blogspot.co.uk/0 -
I'm so jealous!! I've always wanted a lefty hardtail!!

Cheers.
I had a flat bar on it for a while but coupled with the steep head angle and only 100mm travel things were quite twitchy heading down (plus i'm an ex DH'er so like the feel of the bars).
When I sell it (probably around FEB) I'll stick a pair of flats on it.Remember Rule #50 -
