  • I can't seem to find any actual wheels on their website.

Guess you have to ring and ask?

    Never heard of them either
  • I have some :D
Lovely wheels built by a brilliant bloke!
I bought the superlight versions (60mm rear, 50mm front rim depth) to use as my best pair/race wheels which made a huge difference! I had some problems with planet x wheels breaking on me and thought it was best i got something a bit better. Ive ridden some sportives on some pretty terrible roads and they feel as stiff as ever all spokes are still as tight as day 1.
And as for racing on them! They are awesome, the pick up is quick, acceleration is easy they are good in cross winds and they are strong. They draw a few eyes too ;)
You have to drop Anthony Clarkson an email and let him know what you will be using them for and some details and he will suggest whats best for you!

Let me know if you have any questions!

No prizes for guessing which club i belong too...
Surprising how many Mamils a 17/18 year old can beat in his first season after getting these ;)
Unfortunately the bike is now RIP but the wheels are ready and waiting for a new frame, amazing what a difference the wheels made to a mainly aluminum frame! I wont tell you what the next frame is going to be made of just yet. You will have to watch out for that!

  • They look pretty nice.

    Subtle decals lol

I like the GT as well, what happened to that frame? I had an GT road bike years ago, zr2000 or something, it even had the old Triple Triangle frame design.
  • Thanks :)

    It gets me seen haha

Unfortunately its a bit beyond repair... The bike fell over in the bike shed at work onto a rather hard and sharp edge which cracked the fork (I work at a bike shop, i made them check a lot!) Then upon close inspection i realized that the frame wasnt in the best of condition either :/ Wish i was keeping it! Loved riding it and would have another without a second thought. The damage is more to do with it being my only bike at the time (I now have a few) So was used for everything which put plenty of hard miles under it!

Bike forks can break by a bike just falling over?

    Carbon fibre?
  • Well mine did... Made a horrible spine chilling crack. Made an even worse one when it was stress tested :( Yes carbon fibre.

Are they the same as the generic chinese carbon rims with Novatech hubs that would be sold by the likes of Carbonzone on Ebay? Just paying a bit extra to have them handbuilt and warranted?
  • Im assuming so, but to tell you the truth im not sure. They certainly feel good quality whichever way :)
