I can't get very excited about this profile

...mind you the fact we're discussing it over 9 months in advance shows how desparate we get during the off-season.

Cav would have a decent chance on this, wouldn't he (assuming Bradley is prepared to help)?

With more than 4000 meter of climbing?
It looks less hard than Florence this year, but still hilly enough.

OK, I hadn't really done the total. Guess the idea is have enough incline to avoid a repeat of Copenhagen, but not so much to eliminate. In which case maybe it's not so bad, but it still looks like a bunch sprint to me.

That graph is deceptive. Have a look at the profiles in Victor's first post. No bunch sprint. Well, a Sagan-Ulissi-Gerrans one perhaps

I'd agree with that. I'd be quite happy to see him win it, too.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

  • Sagan's biggest problem is the lack of support riders.

Collecting his own bottles costs him extra energy that his rivals don't have to use

The spanish national championship is going to celebrate in Ponferrada.

    Same Route as the Worlds:
