There's a video with some trance music behind Canc's 2007 stage 3 Tour win which is mega, but I can't find it.
In a similar vein, old regular Bhima did this for Canc's ridiculous Mendrisio TT

But I've never got the fuss around the Canc descending vid. Meh.0 -

That's phenomenal. I'd love to know what gear he was going past the other riders in, his legs were moving twice as fast as theirs!0 -
There's a Holland sport episode with Wilfred de Jong where they look at his TT bike and discuss his gearing. It's a noticeable change in his riding style. From that point on in his career he turns a small gear.0

Why is he spinning his cranks backwards in the beginning of the movie? Is that to start the little motor in the seat tube?0 -

This one sticks with me, so I had better nominate it as a favourite.
2008, 3rd Amgen California, Stage 2 into Sacramento and a Team High Road domestic is told to lead out their Sprinter.
Whoops they made a mistake, as we all know since, that Mark Cavendish is the Main man.

You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
Not sure if there is a better, fuller, verison of this stage on youtube but this had some amazing attacks.

I know I'm inviting a whole heap of opprobrium, but even with the assistance I still think that was a fantastic effort. It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

The day before he suffered with heat exhaustion and needed Liquids.
On this stage they put the whole team on the front and then launched Landis in position that their service car could keep attendance to supply as much water as he needed.
I noted in an earlier warm TDF climb, while he set the tempo for USP, he was supplied with a lot of water to pour over his head.
Shame on him with the drugs though. :roll:Organiser, National Championship 50 mile Time Trial 19720 -

I still sit slack jawed when I watch Ulle up Arcalis. I mean, steaming up a mountain, ON THE DROPS LIKE A BLOODY SPRINTER!!
Armstrong up Hautacam (think it's that - wet one) is similarly eye popping. There's a good 10 min condensed version somewhere. The stage win is poignant too.
On mob so can't link anything but you lot know.
There's a great Sporza thing with Michel Wuyts talking about Roubaix 2001 with clips. Mainly about Boonen and Museeuw tbh and all in Dutch but it's lovely to see the beam of a real fan reliving a race and hearing the anecdotes.0 -

1989 TdF stage 17. Won by Theuinisse, but set up the famous final TT in Paris that year. As CW said at the time…
"Just as everyone knew it must, the agonising 13-kilometre climb of L’Alpe d’Huez forced the yellow jersey to change hands in the dying moments of this toughest stage of the race as Laurent Fignon took back the overall lead from Greg LeMond."

God Museeuw pushes a big gear. Crazy.
No wonder he used to say you need 'thick thighs' to be good at the races he was.0 -
Probably not the best video, but one of the best moments in 2011.
Listen how excited Karl is on the motobike....
