08 FSR xc shock bushes

When I got my 08 specialized fsr frame it needed a new bottom shock bush (I'd heard this was common)
I replaced it and 70 miles later I've had to replace it again

Is there an alternative setup? Something that lasts longer? Its a popular bike so I'm sure all the owners don't change the DU bush every 70 miles!!

You did something wrong, or something is worn.
Try strong bushings from BETD or TF Tuned.

Try BETD for sure but you must have some issue somewhere in the frame because 70 miles is not right - my shock bushings are 4 years old.....and a lot more than 70 miles.

do you really mean bush or are you talking about the reducers/fitting kit?

I posted this in workshop tech and its been moved to buying advice

So maybe the axle is worn and that's why the bush didn't last very long. TF sell stronger axles and bushes so I will try this next time. They also sell 'low friction' bush kits. Wonder if that would be better?
