br451 to ultegra 6800, worth the upgrade?

hi, i currentley have a Cube Agree with stock br451 brake calipers on, there ok (ish) in the dry but in the wet i`m not impressed. will i get a massive difference in ultegra 6800 or will i feel a litttle disappointed? thanks for any advice in advance

BR451 are dual pivot too, but they are a 57mm drop brake. 6800 is a standard 49mm drop brake, so there is a good chance that the brakes wouldn't fit on your frame.
In my experinece the main difference in brakes is the pads and the shoes. Buy yourself some koolstop salmon pads in cartridge holders and you will find a world of difference in your existing brakes. If you have difficulty finding the koolstop with metal cartridges then you could try ultegra or simlar ones as Shimano pads are pretty good but can be a bit aggressive

For some reason it is widely thought that R561s are long drop. They aren't, they're 49mm - 6800s will be fine and you'll notice not only an improvement from the improved pivot system the 6800s have but also the fact you'll now have the correct pull ratio brakes for your 5700 STIs.
